Introducing the National Woodsball Championship — The Comeback of UK Woodland Paintball

Competitive woodsball is back.

With the end of the UK Woodland Masters (UKWM) leaving a void in the heart of British paintball. Aside from the amazing ECPL 10-man throwdowns throughout the year, the woodland scene has been quietly fading—especially for newcomers. Ten-man formats, while thrilling, simply aren’t an easy entry point. They require numbers, gear, and experience—three things a lot of new players just don’t have yet.

That ends now.

The National Woodsball Championship is here to revive and reimagine UK woodsball for a new generation. This is a cup tournament series built with purpose: to welcome new players, fire up veterans, and reignite the spirit of competitive play in the woods. Whether you're brand new to the game, a casual weekend baller, or a seasoned team looking for serious competition—this is your call to arms.

🏆 A Championship With a Mission

This isn’t just another series of games. The National Woodsball Championships (NWC) is a movement—with accessible, structured cup competitions designed to complete the player journey. From renter to rookie, from casual to committed, this is the path forward for UK paintball. The NWC is not a series where teams are locked in to play for a position decided at the final competition, each NWC event is a stand alone cup event where winner takes all on the day.

We’re tired of hearing that “paintball is dead.” It’s not. The issue isn’t the passion—it’s the lack of opportunity, support and collaborative work. The NWC offers that opportunity, providing the stepping stones players need to get involved, stay involved, and level up.
