Paintball is Fun with a capital F! - Paintball is not, as often imagined, a game for budding Rambos or Ramboesses or those with a paramilitary bent. It is a game for people of all ages (from 11 upwards) who want to enjoy themselves and try something just that little bit different. Games are played across a range of fields or arenas and the paintball experience is, generally, very different to that which is expected with people of all ages, shapes and sizes finding a day at our paintball site is, put simply, a heck of a laugh.

Paintballing offers something for everyone whether kid's birthday parties or a group of friends who want a day out. It could be part of your Stag or Hen party or a Team Building exercise or just because you fancy it. On arrival at Stormit Paintball you will firstly need to sign in and be given your gear and, perhaps, have a well deserved cup of tea or coffee whilst the rest of the day's players assemble, before gathering for the detailed safety briefing. Once this is complete then you will leave the safe area, collect your paintball marker (gun) and then on to the first arena and the start of the day's play. Each game starts with an explanation of the scenario which varies from field to field. This could be a flag capture game; hostage rescue, treasure hunt, find the sniper but whatever the game, working out the tactics can be half the fun.

We have a mixed woodland and open field site and will, normally, spend time on both types of arena. In the open field we have a speedball game as well as a tournament standard Sup-Air field. We are planning a village arena which we hope to open later this year. Paintball is not about running around the woods playing Rambo! It is a team game involving skill, strategy and stealth. As a team you will need to plan your approach to each game. As the day progresses you will learn about your own strengths and those of your team mates as well as the weaknesses of your opponents. It's up to you and your team to make the most of this knowledge in your efforts to capture the opposition's flag.
